OpenWebRX SDR

About

Server

The web SDR page is hosted on a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2 GB of memory. It is running the OpenWebRX web SDR software on it to provide the web interface. When there are no active listeners on the SDR, it is on a schedule to decode various digital modes in the background, and send them to PSK Reporter and WSPRnet.

MF/HF Receiver

The MF/HF receiver is a NooElec NESDR SMArt RTL-SDR stick. An opendous Upconverter 125MHz v1.3 is connected between it and the antenna, and bumps all signals up by 125 MHz, moving them into the optimal receiving range of the RTL-SDR. The antenna is an AMLA-150 active mag-loop. This is a slightly modified version of the MLA-30 mag-loop antenna. Currently the antenna is mounted about 6 feet up, on a length of PVC pipe in my garage. Though I eventually plan to move it elsewhere, the reception is shockingly good with this configuration!.
